On-Camera Class Toronto

This is a five week on-camera intensive in a professional casting studio. You will be paired-up with a scene partner and given a new scene every week. Actors must be off-book for each class.
Actors will have the opportunity to film their work during the final class.
Ten students max. Auditors welcome. $299 + HST.

Commercial Acting
Commercials are highly technical, incredibly fast and run by committee. Jason Bryden has acted in over 300 commercials that have featured in more than fifty countries. Learn how to audition, how to callback, and how to keep working in advertising. This is a five week class open to all levels. Auditors welcome. $299 + HST.

Online Audition Technique
Learn how to audition for Film & TV and Commercials. Each week a new scene and a new scene partner. I’ll show you how to make your self-tapes sing, how to get that callback and then what to do when you get in the room, be it real or virtual.
Along with all Bold classes you get access to the Bold Scene Resource with hundreds of different two-person scenes from recent Film, TV and advertisements. You also have access to ask me questions via the Bold Group chat. And there’s a weekly podcast and a newsletter.

“The Simple” - Hamilton
For too long acting class took itself very seriously. The teacher would break individuals down so they could build them back up. “The Simple” is the antidote to the self-indulgent and egotistical: Scene study with no crying, no yelling, no melodrama. 95% of the work you’ll get in your career is about connecting before it’s about histrionics. In this class we work on active listening, stillness and being vulnerable using contemporary Film & TV scripts. 5 weeks. $299 + HST. Dates TBA.

Acting for Film & TV — Brampton
This is a crash course in how be an actor on a film set. You will learn everything from the moment you walk onto a set to the last thing you must do before you leave. The hierarchy, the lingo, how to be a responsible collaborator and the dos and don’ts. 5 weeks. $299 + HST. Dates TBA.
The Rich Actor
This six-week class teaches the fundamentals in financial literacy for creatives. How to save and budget in the gig economy. How to invest even with sporadic income. How to pay your taxes. If you invest $100 a month starting at age 20 when you are 60 you will have over $500 000 from an investment of just $48 000. This class is aimed to empower the very people that are allergic to all things finance. $350 + HST. Starting in Spring 2024.
