Jason Bryden

While pursuing a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the University of Calgary Jason trained with the late, great improv guru Keith Johnstone. He performed regularly at the Loose Moose Improv Theatre. After graduation Jason returned to Vancouver to continue his acting studies where he trained at Vancouver Film School, Haven Acting Studios, and Vancouver TheatreSports. He went on to be a teacher and a main stage performer at VTSL for six years.

Jason has appeared in over 200 commercials including spots for brands such as Tena Men, Bud Light, Miller Draft, Kokanee, Volkswagen, KIA, Hyundai, Belair Direct, OLG, WCLC, BCLotto, Sega, ICBC, KFC, Tim Horton’s, A&W, Boston Pizza, Alarm Force, Figure, NHL, Stride Gum, Mio and more. He’s appeared in over 45 films and TV shows including the Umbrella Academy, Murdoch Mysteries, Sanctuary, Suits, the Staff Room, Supernatural, Three Moons Over Milford, Marmaduke, Airbud III, MXP and Snowbuddies.

Simultaneous he continued performing stand-up, sketch and improv comedy in Vancouver, LA, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Atlanta and beyond.

Jason has produced dozens of hours of fictional content on YouTube including digital series like the Staff Room, the Acting Class and Sports Talk Radio. He’s also produced six podcasts including In the Dark, the Polidiot, the Complaint Department, To My Glorious Self and the Bold Acting Podcast.

He lives in Toronto with his two boys and a singing cat.
